A baluster is a vertical post (sometimes called a spindle or picket) that is installed under the handrail to support it and helps form the guardrail system along the stairs and landings. They are normally spaced evenly between the newel posts and they are a must for safety.
Iron Balusters
Iron balusters are a durable and stylish alternative to wood. Most of the time iron balusters are use with a wood newel post and wood handrails.
Designs can be twist with a basket, scrolls, and plain with no design.
